Hi, I just hope to talk to someone who is going through the same situation of anxiety and nervousness. Some days I am fine or I try to be and other days It is what it is

Have you tried CBT? My GP referred me (I'm in Ireland), but I think you might be able to self-refer under the NHS?

Anyway, I found both it and anti-depressants helped immensely.

Hi, I personally have not tried other cognitive methods. I have simply been recommended breathing exercises and the medications my doctor gives me and visits to the psychiatrist. What is it like for you to deal with anxiety?

That's a hard question to answer because depression is my dominant mental health issue, rather than anxiety. So for me it was more that some of the treatments for my depression (such as escitalopram and CBT) also had a really good effect on my anxiety levels.

doI understand, and I hope that you will continue to be here so that we can continue talking and sharing more of the experiences that we have to live through. In my case it is generalized anxiety and I am glad that it is tending to positive changes in your life with medications that are important to treat depression or anxiety

hi guys! I find that walks help my mood. Today I had planned to go out early but I’m anxious so I think I’ll put it off a bit. It’s frustrating to not know when anxiety will strike.

it is very frustrating not knowing when anxiety will strike. It rears its ugly head whenever it wants too.

Hi, I've also been recommended to go for a walk, but it also happens that when I'm going to do it, anxiety appears out of nowhere. It's difficult to live like this
