Healing Myself.

I made a post a couple of weeks ago about keeping a journal here to track my progress and hope that it would help someone else. As I so often do, I failed to follow through on that. I want to try again. I just did my first workout in a month or so. It’s picked my mood up quite a bit. I’ve been drinking consistently again, and feel down the day after. If I abstain today, I know that I will start feeling better tomorrow, and my workouts will be more productive both physically and mentally. I had a great job interview this morning. It’s back in corrections and I’m fine with that. It’s a facility I’ve never been to before, but saw a lot of familiar faces. I felt welcomed, not desperately needed. Scheduling will be a problem, but we’ll work through it. Next up are meditation, prayer, and dirt.

Frank.....I think first and foremost....journaling is cathartic for yourself....and this should be for yourself....if someone in turn finds something they can relate to that's helpful for them as well, then that's a plus....but this is your journey....it's for your own personal health and healing and growth.....there is never any failure in that....
