Why Am I Always Wrong?

I am honestly not trying to victim when I say this. It's just the fact regardless of how old I get, I am told the same thing. I was wrong! It's all my fault! You should know better! and so on. However, when a friend or stranger does the exact same thing whatever it may be it's ok or just funny even.

I know due to several reasons I am not like most of the people around me. I know I don't understand things in quite the same way others do.

I try to ask to be explained what did I do wrong. I try to understand... However 99% of the time ends the same way. I feel like a stupid child and I was wrong for not knowing. I get frustrated and overwhelmed and cry.

How about you readers?

I get that all the time and my work colleagues will blame it all on me and I am wrong. Nearly about to give up on job. But I'm not valued as much as I was before because of it. And therefore my pay low. What do you do when other people don't assume responsibility? And I will also question my performance than others which makes me target. I am also the eldest so I get it it alot at home too, I am the one making all the mistakes and again I just take it

Just remember you are smart. They are jealous. You work hard.

why would people always tell you you’re wrong or it’s all your fault? That’s kind of rude of them. And what things are you doing that’s so often your fault? I mean, I am often misreading people, misinterpreting, misreading text, last to understand something…..but people are generally not blatantly calling me on it.

I don't think anyone is always wrong....but if your conditioned to believe that, then you will feel like your always wrong..... that's when you need to make choices for yourself to break the mold.

These sound like toxic people if they are always saying you are wrong. Everybody makes mistakes, but I bet you're right a lot more often than you think.

I hear Japanese business culture is insane. Like you can't quit a Japanese work place without apologizing to your bosses and the staff. Plus they interrogate you for why you are leaving and how much money you are going to be making at this new place. Sometimes they will even use that to try and sabotage the new job. In Japan you can actually hire professional job quitters/apologizers. They will go in place of you to quit your job. They will cry and give a very formal apology. So you don't have to stress.

I will say you are not 100% wrong all the time. It's impossible to be that level of wrong all the time. It's just this business. They got you convinced that you are "dumb". But they are withholding information from you to make you "figure it out". Your feelings are valid. You have every right to feel frustrated and cry. People can only take so much abuse and a toxic workplace environment for so long.

Sending love and hugs 🫂❤️
