I have a disability which stems from a traumatic childhood. I suffer from ptsd and everything that comes from it. Dissociative identity disorder which causes people to experience multiple distinct identities (MPD) and split personality (did ) is associated with long term exposure to trauma. I feel like different parts of their identity are in control of mt thoughts and behavors at times what is the difference between DID and Schizophrenia
