I'm Steve, I feel like I can't continue to keep happy and not break down in sadness. I've suffered with Major Depressive Disorder, Generalized Anxiety and PTSD. I don't know anymore on acting happy. A lot of crap has gone on lately and I don't know why I feel like it should end :/ If anyone can help. Please help! I also have a concussion from a accident a few days ago which I'm currently out of the hospital without any broken limbs. But I've had a lot on my plate!

welcome steve sorry to read of your troubles the only thing that should end is the illness taking over your life and not you taking your life because of the illness.you will make it through to happier times keep at it keep strong keep on going and with the right support it will get better.
Steve, anxiety and the depression about being anxious are either genetic or reactive. Either way we should do everything we can to remove or neutralise those things that are causing our disquiet mind.
These may include over work, toxic relationships, grief, disappointment, guilt, money worries, job dissatisfaction to name a few.
Be ruthless at removing the cause of your anxiety disorder from your life, you don't have to put up with it.
Anxiety can present itself in many different ways, it is highly accomplished at imitating genuine physical illness. And of course sensitised nerves take small worries and exaggerate them ten-fold.
We must be wise to anxiety's tricks and remember always it's s toothless paper tiger that can't kill you, disable you or send you crazy. No matter how bad it makes you feel the power of anxiety is limited.
You are in no danger, you are not in harm's way. These bad feelings will resolve and you will regain your quiet mind. Just don't put up with a load if c**p from anybody at the expense of your mental health and keep a sense of proportion about anxiety's fake symptoms and you will recover and rebuild your life in the fullness of time.
Hi Steve. Sorry you're going through a rough patch. Those times bring on the depression and anxiety for me too. Try to be as good to yourself as possible, and work hard to get out of this, past this, and remember you will feel better soon!
Steve I am sorry that you are going through all of this right now. There are many different ways to fight this. Just pick one and move forward. If that doesn’t work. Try a different one.
Hi, I understand and have been and am currently going through what you are going through. It truly sucks. If you ever need someone to chat with I’m here. I hate putting on the “Happy face”. When I was in an accident about a month ago I noticed it set off a lot of depression and anxiety, thankfully I was just bruised up.
