Wake Up Call

About 2 weeks ago I was hospitalized for 4 days. I was in a coma for almost 2 days. It was an accidental overdose. My wife tried to wake me for 4 hours to no avail. Paramedics gave me 4 shots of narcan but my body had already absorbed the medication. I woke up angry and confused. My wife never left my side. When they let me come home I couldn’t operate the television remote or the phone. She is a patient woman because I had no idea what medication to take let alone what it was for. My son who was in Tampa was worried when or if I would get back to normal. My 1st night home I had nightmares that were awful. Please take your meds as written and only you know if something is wrong. I am better for this experience and I thank my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ’

It's when things like that happen that makes you sit down and reevaluate your life and learn the lesson that most matters in life are neither urgent or important!
