Narcan

Paramedics gave me 4 shots of narcan but my body had already absorbed the medication. I woke up angry and confused. My wife never left my side. When they let me come home I couldn’t operate the television remote or the phone.

The ambulance drivers and paramedics gave me Narcan four times, but apparently my body had absorbed, the medication. I like many people with MS have short-term memory loss and took the wrong combination of medicines of which I never do!

For reference her first night in the ICU they had to give her Narcan twice for a very small dose of IV Dilaudid. So they gave it to her Friday. It makes her out of it for about 48 hours at least not super out of it but just not normal either.

This made it extremely difficult for the PAIN MD's to PROVIDE the drug, which is given to addicts, LIKE METHADONE...with the accompanying NARCAN........which I didn't need. I have been on THE SAME DOSAGE of BUPRENORPHINE, for 12 years! THERE IS NO DROWSINESS!!

He overdosed on fentynil and OxyContin and my son brought him back with Narcan. (My 22 year old angel). Now he isn’t able to walk and Hopkins is trying to find out what it is. He’s now on Gabbapentin and gout pills. They set up 2Mri’s in the next 2 weeks but tomorrow we go for more chemo.

I am so angry over the anxiety that fills me everyday in the fear I will come home to my boyfriend dead, (for the second time, thank god for narcan). I just am at my wits end, wishing I could make a change and fix this world wide ridiculously over sized problem.

I have had to give him cpr, purchase narcan to keep in case of emergency, and pray to God he doesn't die when I leave the house again. Please God, Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change The courage to change the things I can And the Wisdom to know the difference.
