Feeling nausea

I feel so sickly everyday I take 10mg Amitriptaline for nerve pain and sleep and 125mg sertraline for anxiety. I still struggle still with anxiety,saw my gp thinks it could be the Amitriptaline making me feel sick she wants to change me to 10mg Nortriptaline.Does anybody have experience with these meds

hi, and yes I have been on nortriptyline for 36 years. Dose varied over the years but it helps me with depression from chronic pain. I never had side effects. When I first started I was a busy mother of two toddlers. I had weekly migraines. This helped me sleep and made pain meds help a bit more. I also have mdd and it helps me sleep better and depression doesn’t last that long. Good Luck I hope this helps.

hi Shepher, I take 2 capsules at bedtime which is 75mg a capsule. I don’t think it comes in 150 mg doses so I take 2 of the 75mg to make it 150 mg total. I started over 30 years ago and it was a gradual increase as needed . I have been on 150 mg dose for about 20 years. No side effects, helps with sleep so I take at bedtime. Thanks Sugaree I take 125mg of Sertraline for anxiety my Dr has given me 10mg of nortriptyline for my nerve pain and help me sleep. Mine is just a small white tablet
