Nervous about going to my parents' house. They might watch a movie at my sister's home with my nieces. Should I stay and be uncomfortable and have ruminating thoughts about how my body language/movements are?

Well I guess I'd have to say it's up to you. Does your family know about your situation. If they do and invited you then go and try to be then and breathe in through your nose for 5 seconds hold it for 6 seconds and then slowly breathe out of your mouth for 7 seconds. This automatically makes you feel a lot calmer. Good luck with whatever you decide to do. I'm sure it will be okay. I hope your parents and sister and nieces realize how much your struggling and love you through it.
It's totally up to you, Eric. I'm sure your family knows about your problems, so they'll be understanding. Can you talk to them about how you feel - it might help?
