Hi Nmaz and Welcome. Oh that horrible feeling in the stomach. It always starts

that way and then we panic and fear the feeling and then it escalates. Round and round

we go until we learn how to control our emotions.

Many things can cause that feeling to start including new meds, new situations as well

as our own negative thoughts. There is a video on YouTube by Dr. Claire Weekes that

explains how Acceptance can play a big part in ridding yourself of this feeling.

Our community of support is here to share our own experiences with each other.

In this way, we learn and don't feel so alone. Anxiety doesn't have to be a lifetime

commitment. once you get back control (and you will and you can) You are in the

right place to start your healing journey :) xx

I know the feeling. I wake up every morning (sometimes at 3am) with anxiety in my stomach. After I get up, it usually goes away or migrates to my brain and becomes a headache. Focusing on the present and being kind to myself in the moment helps. I get out of bed and focus on something to occupy my mind. Sometimes I watch a YouTube video or listen to a podcast to distract me from my negative thoughts. Afterward, I'm able to get ready for my day. This is what works for me. Maybe it will work for you. Good luck. We can get through this.🤗

I know that feeling all too well. It was especially bad while changing meds. Are you on meds? Just start or switch?

I have been where you are. At some points I would have wondered if it was side effects or symptoms from my mental health problems. Sometimes it was one thing and other times it was the other. But, for me, I get side effects from almost everything I have been on. But it may be different for you. Do you have a print out from the pharmacy with side effects listed on it? You can call your pharmacy too. They can not make a diagnosis at the pharmacy but they can tell you about the possible side effects from the medications if you need to know them. Sometimes the internet can be wrong, so I wouldn't put all your trust into side effect lists online unless you know for sure it is a trusted website.
