I have been feeling not good enough or unworthy.
Any advice on how to challenge negative self-talk?
Much appreciation to all!

It's hard to overcome especially when you have been doing it for a while. I know this because I'm still battling it.
But I do have some ideas that have helped me. One is writing an apology letter to yourself. Write how you are sorry for all those nasty things you said about yourself. Include in there why you are apologizing. Because you know there are good things about yourself. Put that into your letter. Make a promise to yourself that you will work on speaking to yourself better. Not only promise yourself...put in there that you will do that. Start tomorrow you will look in the mirror when you wake up and say something good about yourself.
Keep that letter somewhere, where when you need to you can read it again whenever you get discouraged.
Yeah I've been feeling that alot lately too.I also just feel alone and just drifting through life without a purpose. I don't have any advice because I'm currently dealing with my issues. But I understand how your feeling. Sorry I'm not much help right now.
Counter it with positive self-talk.
Gently correct yourself.
I started saying, "Stop. Reverse."
Then it went to, "No (said gently)..." and then something to counter what I was thinking that was negative.
A lot of, "It's okay... you're doing fine."
Eventually, I was even able to congratulate myself on little wins, "Good job!" "You go!"
We have to learn to our own cheerleader.
🦆 everyone. You are awesome
What can you do right now? Did you know there are an estimated 40 quadrillion ants on Earth right now, or a out 2.5 million ants for every person. Do you think you could win if you tried to challenge each and everyone of 2.5 million ANTs ( automatic negative thoughts).? Almost all ants can be safely ignored, and yes, absolutely, you can have infestations that you need to deal with, or in very extreme cases, hire a professional exterminator, but 99.9% of the time ignoring them is just the best course. I just had some ice cream for breakfast. I started thinking about all the reasons that it was a bad idea, but the carton helpfully reminded me that the ice cream is cheaper than therapy. Yes, absolutely, there are lots of things you can't do, but what can you do - do that and try (but not too hard, because that's all you will think about) not to think about what you can do, and instead think about what you have done.
