RELATIONSHIP PROBLEMS

Recently my girlfriend of 3 years broke up with me because she didn’t feel appreciated by me, she said she wanted to give me 3 months(the summer) to improve myself and then in august we think about getting back together. This was a week ago I have been having the hardest time, she blocked me on everything except text and recently she asked to play video games with me. I’ve held off telling my parents about the breakup because they’ve never been fully supportive, I leave for an internship 12 hours away in 1 week and I’m not sure what to do I was supposed to go to her house because her bday is in a couple of days but now I can’t and I know my parents are going to be asking me why I’m not going. Please help!

I presume you are at least 18? In which case you haven't got to justify yourself to anyone. If your parents say anything just tell them you don't want to talk about it. Then keep saying it and eventually they will stop. Its none of their business anyway..
