i'm going over my dads house soon and i'm terrified that they can tell that i'm nervous and then we're going to the park later on and i'm always nervous to be around strangers. i just feel like they can sense that i'm the "odd man out". i dont want them seeing my body language become distant and id like support. thanks

Eric, I'm so glad you get to see your dad. Love doesn't see "the odd man out".

Walk tall and confident next to your family. You don't have to look at the strangers

but look at the beauty all around you in nature. Enjoy the park on this beautiful

day. Make memories and not worries. :) xx

Hi Eric

I'm glad you continue to get out despite how uncomfortable you feel.

You can do this, you've shown us that you can get through.

Do the best you can, enjoy your time with your dad and keep telling yourself you are going to be ok

Sending support

You are welcome. Sometimes I think visuals make things so much clearer. This one really hit me.

Hope you are well. It's finally warm where I live. I'm outside with my little guy 🦔

Enjoy your dad, nature and the park. It is great that you can go out and spend time with your dad. Don't pay attention to the strangers, it doesn't matter what they think or don't think. That has nothing to do with you. Enjoy your time.

please don’t be afraid to be who you are. If your family can’t accept your disease, that is their issue. We are all so afraid with this disease, aren’t we? Maybe it’s because I’m old now, but I don’t hide it anymore. It never benefitted me to do so. Most people either have it or know someone who does. You don’t have to wear your anxiety like a badge, but never hide who you are. Ever. Peace. I hope you have a good day.
