The gym seriously helps

Hello,I'm doing pretty good right now. I been going to the gym since pretty much the beginning of the month. I've gotten too the point that I actually get stressed if I don't go once a day. Even if its just biking. My ultimate goal is to get ripped πŸ˜„. Actually before my brother passed away. It was actually his way of helping his own issues with PTSD, along with everything else. He was a body builder and I'm definitely considering getting into it. Improving my mindset and actively seeking out to change my way of thinking has significantly help. I been trying to do stuff outside the box. Like how I love metal music. Well instead I listen to something completely different. Or if I do something I've always done, I change it. It has actually helped me clear my thoughts because sometimes I'm forced to learn. It's been working with food too. It's gotta work if I gaslight my self enough right? Lol.

how did you start motivating yourself to start going to the gym?

It's different for a lot of people, but for me. It's for what I lost from when I was a kid and for my wife and daughter. The rule I go by is I have to go once a day. Even if it's just biking. Since I have ADHD I learned my ability in concentrating is damaged, buy my ability to form habits isn't. So for me at this point it's starting to become real habitual. Heavy weights and music is really nice to do if you really want to push yourself. But if you're not feeling it as much. Low intensity exercise like biking, and elliptical with your phone playing a movie or YouTube video is pretty fun.

I have exercised all my life, mostly running, and it has been a Godsend. I am not able to run as much anymore, due to my age and to Covid ruining my athleticism. However, I am still trying to get back into it by going slowly. I also bike, swim and lift weights. It helps with my anxiety. I also love music. For me, it's mostly rock music. However, I have been taking piano lessons again (I took them as a young child) and have started appreciating classical piano music. I like to lay down and close my eyes and immerse myself in the music. There is so much to classical music. You might want to give it a try. 😊

I love piano music. You have no idea lol. Halo 3 ODST especially after it came to PC reestablished my love for the genre. Exercise in general too is awesome. When I was in middle school I actually used to play football. Some of the best times of my life. I'm certain you can get back into it. Just keep those thoughts positive on doing the work.
