Yay! Every win is a bonus, no matter how small. You should try playing with your panic attacks, they don’t like that and tend to go quicker, well they did for me.🤷‍♀️

what do you mean

Well taking into consideration what works for one may not work for others, I had cobbled together my own form of cbt to help someone else with severe panic attacks. It was very loosely similar to the dare technique which I didn’t know of at the time.

So I knew that the fear was the driving force during a panic attack and the fear of when it’s going to strike again and I started talking to each panic attack as and when needed trying to goad it such as “So you’ve come to play with me again, get on with it and do you’re worst then you can go and play with someone else.” There were also a lot of expletives thrown in too.😂 Plus a lot of other talking too.

I appreciate how crazy this sounds but I got rid of them by ditching the fear of them and without any meds too.🤷‍♀️

Erm, well I wasn’t at that stage to begin with and it took a lot of effort trying not to fear each panic attack as they arose and after but thankfully my technique paid off for me, well I hope so 🤞 as they could come back at any time but at least I now know how to deal with them.
