My anxiety has been through the roof lately mainly because of a lot of stress. I’ve had a lot of sinus stuff and seem to constantly be clearing my throat. I had a couple of canker sores a couple weeks ago which I’ve had before. My throat and back of my tongue have felt irritated and I looked and there’s little white bumps on the back of the roof of my mouth. I googled it and now I’m freaking out that I have thrush or mouth cancer which is making my anxiety worse.

Dr Google-Big mistake
Someone I know recently had the same symptoms and was misdiagnosed a few times before the providers finally realized all of her symptoms were an onset of GERD. You may want to ask your doctor about it.
Hi Grandmaof3...Dr Google can send you off the deep end. Unfortunately, once you
read his possible diagnosis, it's impossible to delete from your anxious mind.
Have your doctor check it out and give you a reputable diagnosis.
Dr Google just covers all possibilities in not getting sued lol
Well wishes sent your way Keep us updated dear xx
Dr Google did the same to me. Anxiety can cause a lot of symptoms. Please see your doctor just to relax your mind
Honestly, a simple virus can cause the white spots, and if it is thrush, it's easy to treat with meds. And stress as well as illness are common triggers for canker sores, which most of us get. Make sure you are drinking enough water, as simple dehydration could be a cause.
I would make an appointment with your doctor to get checked out, but it is most likely something that will clear up on its own or is easy to treat! Also, for the big C, if you have regular tooth cleanings, your dentist should screen for that each visit. When they grab your tongue and move it around to look in your mouth, that's what they are checking.
Google can really make you crazy if you don't know how to conduct thorough research (most folks don't, but I do it for a living and taught it). Always go to multiple sites that are reputable (usually .org and always .gov) to compare the information and get a thorough overview - and read the entire article. It's easy to get caught by the scariest part and not see the entire picture. Hang in there!
