anyone get brain zaps? I am not tapering or switching meds and I’ve been having them at different times of the day. Not terrible but definitely makes me wonder.. only thought you got them when you were withdrawing

I'm not sure what brain zaps are, but when I first went on meds, I noticed this unusual lightheadedness, almost like a high, that would come out of nowhere for a brief few seconds. Now, I think it was the beginnings of a benign inner ear condition I have, where my inner ear fills up with fluid. It feels like it's happening in my brain, but the inner ear is pretty deep.

Hi Dadoffour how are you doing? I remember getting brain zaps when coming off

years of benzos and switching meds. It wasn't the switching causing those zaps as

much as it was the brain healing and finding a way to produce these hormones on

it's own. It's not a forever thing. Think of it as a "healing process" and don't fear it.

It's going to be okay. Life goes on. You'll be able to see more clearly as the zaps start

dwindling as well. My best to you. :) xx

hi Agora! I am doing good! I’m happy winter has been pretty mild so far. I like your thought of it just being a sign my brain is healing!

I have been on a trip this past year and I am happy with where I am. I have been looking out for myself more and realizing things I never knew.

Life is beautiful and I’m happy I get one. Funny I use to pray for strength and patience and here we are haha.

Hope all is well with you

I have them when I forget to take my Effexor for one day. I will get dizzy, nauseous, and I latterly feel like I am being zapped.
