exercise helps me, a shower, sitting outside.

A shower definitely helps but it takes me a long time to motivate myself to get in the shower. Im going to take Agora’s advice about not lying in bed waiting for it to go away

Thank you ….

56-108 Move...Do not lie in bed and wait for it to go away.

Movement allows the excess adrenaline to disperse quicker.

I'm happy to Welcome you to our community.

Each person and each day will open up your list of "to do's" for Anxiety :) xx

Hi again 56-108

Morning anxiety is a normal physical release of the body's chemistry

in starting the day. We are much more subjected to that feeling than

the average person. It needs to be a retraining of our brain to accept

that stimulating feeling. For myself, I use Meditation and Breathing

exercises before getting out of bed. Same thing before going to sleep

as well as midafternoon a 5-10 rejuvenation. (this prepares me)

You're probably thinking of something more short term and fast

working, unfortunately the magic pill or wand doesn't exist.

So, in finding different methods that work for us puts us back in control

of our physical feelings which allows us to get on with the day.

Anxiety doesn't have to take away our lifestyle but must be practiced

as a new way of life. It's well worth it when you start feeling the results.

Don't lose hope..as anything worthwhile is a day by day practice :) xx

We can't get discouraged as to how long it may take.

As soon as I open my eyes, I say out loud to myself "I'm Back" lol

We must not focus on the feeling but accept it as just another way

anxiety plays it's mind game with us. I always win no matter how

long it may take. Keep moving.... :) xx

Usually i focus on my breath, there are various breathing techniques, but i often don't rem them, so i just keep going back to the breath when i become aware that i've got caught up with my thoughts yet again.😊Happy Easter and best wishes
