I can feel it coming on...and it sucks because I feel like I can't do nothing about it ππ. I get really bad sometimes..can't even get out of bed. I'm just so down and can't bring myself to anything, or get rid of the horrible thoughts. Does anyone else feel when theyre about to have one too? Mine can last days to weeks sometimes over a month.
Also, please keep me and my family in your prayers π. This sickness is hitting us all. Chest pains, fevers, coughs and sneezing.

yup! Know what you mean. I have chronic depression interrupted by periods of major depression. I can always feel bad periods coming on. The holidays usually do it for me!
Not depression, but with anxiety I can feel it "coming on". Basically I start getting a bit lost in my thoughts, which are usually worrying about something. This can really spiral sometimes and can happen randomly, like when I am trying to do something productive. So that is frustrating....
When I become aware that this is happening, I have to consciously redirect my thinking mind to my breathing. It lowers my heart rate after a few minutes and the worrying thoughts don't have as much chance to spiral. It takes a lot of awareness though. And to get that awareness has taken practice.
Also, I understand this is a great challenge for you. It is good that you are expressing yourself rather than just holding it in. It can be a form of release. At least that has been my experience!
I'm not sure that you can't do anything to help yourself. I don't know what you have done in the past, but you could see a therapist, you could read a book behavioral therapy, you could get some physical exercise, even though you may not want to get out of bed. Even a little exercise can be helpful. You can try antidepressant medication if you haven't already.
As far as your respiratory problems go, I can't really help you there except to suggest seeing a doctor. It's possible that you may have Covid. In any case, most respiratory illnesses resolve themselves within a week or so.
What is ur most precious & joyous memory that's makes U smile & happy every time ? When I find that I'm having an episode I think of the moments both my daughters were born & for me as my most powerful memory starts to clear the darkness. So if U have 1 then remember if not then U need to make good happy positive memories to help U in future. That's what works for me & I hope it works for U too.
First of all, I am SO sorry you are feeling like this. I know when I get sick, I always feel more depressed, so that may be a factor. If you don't think it's that, you may want to reach out to your doctor about adjusting your meds before you end up in a deep depression. That circling the drain feeling is the worst, isn't it?
The happy memories U've made with ur cat is a,great source of strength & if U remember the good times U won't stop smiling & hopefully it can lift ur mood.
