help please

how do I find a homeless shelter I can stay at and how long can I stay at one? I looked and there’s none in my area. I was hoping to stay walking distance to see my daughter. My fiancé wants me out because I’m too depressed. I have bad social anxiety. I won’t have money/phone when I leave. Just a bag of clothes. What do I do?

I am so sorry that you are in this situation 12, that would be incredibly hard. I imagine a government building like a city office or an employment center or somewhere could direct you? I am so sorry. I think that duration of stay would depend on the place...😥❤️

Or if that possibly doesn’t work for your location, there are several communities and volunteer groups like Salvation Army that are in many different cities all around the world and if you can contact them they constantly work with and help people in situations similar to yours.

the department of health and human services should be able to provide you with information. In MI they will sometimes provide you a motel room for a couple nights in emergency situations. I don’t know the exact criteria. I’m sorry that you are going through this.
