Hello my friends!

I'll be brief, never underestimate the healing power of music! No matter what you're into, it gives you a voice when society doesn't seem to listen.

At the height of my depression music was so important.

I would sit and cry and just listen.

I would do the same, or mouth out the words as if I was singing myself. It was a great release for me. Doesn't matter what type of music, it worked for me.

Yes, same for me. Even the upbeat stuff helped me focus on where I needed to get. Wasn't sure how long that would take but it was helpful.

The song below helped me in a huge way.

I love all music but I clung to things like

REM everybody hurts

Disturbed sound of silence

Sarah Barilles Brave

My all time favorite groups are Queen and U2

Mine were always the Beatles and when a bit older Pink Floyd. But also love ZZ top, Elvis, Oasis, Leonard Cohen and Queen among others.

I am a bit backdated lol

In the worst depth of my depression in my late teens and early 20's I would listen endlessly to Leonard Cohen. He seemed more depressed than me which made me feel less alone.

Adele did that for me.
