Hi, just looked for some advice really. I have had “sinus issues” for quite some time. Pressure all around sinuses points / post nasal drip. In the last year though… I get a “I’m not here” feeling, slightly light headed/ wooshy ? This only happens on the days when my sinus pressure is really bad- anyone else? I’m currently waiting on CT scan results and my anxiety is telling me all sorts of things!
Thank you!

I’m 65. I’ve had sinus issues since I’ve been a little girl. They can be annoying. I get pressure and migraine headaches from them. U can try things like Fluonase which is a steroid spray which reduces swollen sinuses. U can also rule out if you have allergies. I have had CT scans of my sinuses and an MRI of my brain. I wish U good luck in coming up with solutions that will help you.
Absolutely no problems with sinuses. I had a full check over- ears, nasal passages and CT scan. So it’s a condition called mid segment facial pain which is similar to chronic tension headaches. There’s very little about it on the internet but apparently anti depressant low dose or epilepsy drugs can help. I’m trying to manage it myself currently because I think I might make the tension worse from constantly stressing.
I have had lots of tests done. I thought I had a brain tumor. I have a deviated septum and that could be causing the sinus problem. Every other test turned out normal. I use a nasal spray and sometimes it helps.
I too have diagnosed myself with a brain tumour! Horrible what your mind can do I’ve been using a nasal spray for 4 years. It was helping but suddenly stopped about 8 months ago and the woozy / I’m not here feeling started almost like a vertigo
Hi - you have just described exactly how I feel! I'm so confused as I don't know whether this can be linked to RA or leflunomide. Have you got any further in working things out?
