This is kind of a related subject, I have been on Sertraline for years with no problems. Then I was put on Fosamax for osteoporosis and I had the worst anxiety attack of my life. Has anyone else experienced anxiety with Fosamax either with or without Sertraline? Thank you all so much.

I started HRT about 5 months ago and I feel like my anxiety is up and down from week to week. I'm switching back to effexor after being on pristiq for several months. Not sure if HRT is causing the ups and downs or that's just my anxiety now. Tried asking the doctor, but no answers. Hope you can find some peace.

I took setraline in the past. I stopped because I couldn't tolerate it.

Just for two weeks. I was having serious panic attacks, chest pain, dizzy and restlessness. I couldn't continue because it made me sick.

I couldn’t tolerate Zoloft either when I tried it years ago. I have been on Paxil for many years. A couple months ago I stopped my birth control pill which put me right in menopause (hot flashes, insomnia, moodiness ) I also switched to Lexapro at that time. Big mistake! Made all my symptoms worse! Now I’m back on Paxil and I started HRT and I’m feeling much better. The first week or so of Hrt can be a little rough but it gets better!

I’m on a 50ug estrogen patch weekly and 100mg progesterone tab daily. My anxiety was a little worse at first but I also attribute that in part to Lexapro. I was also SUPER emotional. It been a month now and I’m feeling SO much better. Hot flashes gone. Sleeping better, anxiety pretty much gone. Like I said I’m also back on Paxil which really helps. How long have you been on Zoloft?
