Anti depressants sides effects

I recently came of hrt as I didn’t feel it was helping me apart from my mid month dip. My anxiety has rocketed the past few months. I started on sertraline 3 weeks ago on a very low dose of 25g. The side effects have been awful. I’ve had a couple of good-ish days but some awful ones too. I’ve been signed off work and due back in two weeks today.

The doctor suggested today maybe trying citalopram instead but I’m reluctant to experience more side effects. But if I up the sertraline I’m sure I’ll get them with that.

My anxiety is mainly caused in my head anyway cos I’m looking after my grandson twice a week for 6 hrs between my job. I have other grandkids but he was breast fed so less involved. My anxiety has been crippling at times. Does anyone have any experience or advice. All much needed. Thank you

If you suffer from low estrogen it's no fun and sertraline won't address low estrogen

Aguaje is fantastic for low estrogen / menopause it is natural I highly recommend it

I don’t know if I’m suffering from high or low. I was going to ask for blood tests. I looked at Bioidentical HRT but it’s so expensive. She said if your low in progesterone or high your anxiety will be affected. Is that available over the counter

Aguaje has progesterone and estrogen it's from a natural plant from the Peruvian rainforest it's amazing you can but it online

The other thing I recommend is pregnenolone which you buy online it is the grandmother of all hormones and when you take it it provides any hormone you are short of it is amazing

Can these be mixed with antidepressants though? I’m guessing you can because you can have hrt as well. Thanks for the advice

I wouldn't go down the antidepressant drug path if I was you - try to sort out a natural hrt first as anxiety is a menopausal symptom

But it's up to you

Ask your GP

Just quickly looked up your advice. It says pregnenolone should be short term and has side effects. The other one sounds good. Where do you get yours from?

you can.get it on ebay my nephew doesn't have any on there atm it can be expensive and some are selling dud stuff

I have been taking pregnenolone for over a year it is really good and not dangerous US is trying to ban it as it will put big pharma hrt out of business

They do a Maca root capsule that had good reviews and seems similar. Is that similar to aguaje?

I’d be worried buying the wrong stuff. Looked on amazon so far.

Maca isn't the same it is good stuff though

I just searched for aguaje on ebay I clicked on best result option and if I was you I would buy 99p sample the one to avoid is the white coloured capsules they are dud aguaje is a red ish colour the 99p sample will give you an idea if it helps if you buy 2 packs you should have 10 capsules try on a day for 10 days to see if it suits you
