The power of (not so little) things...

There is a lot of power in little things you can do. A smile or wave, a kind word, holding a door for someone etc., can make a big difference in someone's life. These things have more impact than you know. Some folks go a long time without receiving any kindness or positive feedback.

Whenever a little kid smiles or waves at me I always try to make sure I respond in kind. The joy and innocence in them should be acknowledged. It makes me feel good to do it.

My point is that putting good, loving and positive things out into the world has great effect on the giver as well as the recipient. Part of trying to make my mind healthier is paying attention to kindness and courtesy and remembering to give it whenever I can.

I am not sure I am saying this as well and as clearly as I would like but it was on my mind.

All men and women are brothers and sisters and that never changes.

Hi, I so agree, a smile from a stranger is so lovely when you are feeling down , and it costs nothing, as they say smile and the world smiles with you😁
