Has anyone ever experienced "Pure Elation"?

Our Vegas Golden Knights won the Stanley Cup πŸ† on Tues night. The big parade is tomorrow on the strip. This was the team picture snapped right after the game ended. Everyone came together in a perfect heart ❀️ shape with the MVP of the series dead center with his head thrown back in total awe!

Looking πŸ‘€ at this picture. What do you πŸ™ˆ see? A celebration πŸ₯³πŸŽ‰ a victory✌️ πŸ™Œ a congratulatory comraderie of peersπŸ’ 🏟️ a hard fought battle of teamwork and success.

Has anyone ever felt like this from a personal accomplishment achieved? Pure Elation...

when the San Antonio Spurs won their last championship and got to be on tv for a bit πŸ˜‚ And when I was complimented on my name by Dr. Peter Weller (Murphy/ Robocop) And got a personalized video from one of my favorite voice/performance actors Roger Clark & Rob Weitoff.

Picture is amazing and what an incredible victory! I'm up in Idaho. I love the question. I had a work moment speaking at a conference in London.....24 hour turnaround just for me to sit on a panel for an hour. I have technical skills but had the most success in sales jobs. Anyway, there I am with no sleep and having to banter at industry experts. Competitors in the audience directed nearly all questions to me having flown in from the States. They wanted to stump me......but that wan't ever going to happen! Was able to turn the entire 500+ people to focus on my message and to avoid the crap they were trying to stump me. In the end, I made some jokes about it for comedy but then fully answered a technical question that someone had wrong in the audience. It was pure bliss. It's funny how people can often underestimate each one of us. We all have our bad days....but when these good days of joy happen, savor it!

Like everything you've ever done to further your career suddenly came into the perfect storm of success!! What a whirlwind πŸŒͺ️ of academic achievement! Congratulations πŸ‘πŸŽ‰

Hey Litp, Congrats to the Knights! Such a great picture and what an exciting week for Vegas, and for you!! My favorite Uk soccer team won Champions League and my KC Chiefs won Super Bowl this year. It doesn’t get much better than that. Sports-wise it’s been a great year for me so I can definitely relate to the elation. Enjoy the celebrations!!!! πŸ₯‚

Sports are awesome. Some of my happiest moments in my life were from my teams winning it all. My two favorite sports is American Baseball and Football, with the Philadelphia teams my home teams (Phillies and Eagles). These were the two that won their championships last (World Series in '08 and Superbowl in '17). Of the two, the Superbowl was the best. Never thought I would experience my team win one, as they never did up to that point, but it was being around my kids that made it special for me. I had baby vomit on me for the last 20 mins of the game because I didn't want to miss it. I was literally on cloud 9 for a whole year after it!

I used to be a huge American football 🏈 fan too. But the chronic concussion issues in the league and my husband's history with cumulative head πŸ€• injuries from playing football, along with his family history of Alzheimer's, kinda turned me off to the sport quite a while back.

Being from Minnesota, hockey πŸ’ has been the sport of choice for both of us. I'm so glad Vegas has become such a RABID NHL city πŸ˜πŸ†

Philly born and raised....enjoyed both of those huge wins 2008/2018 here in Texas. The Super Bowl over Brady was probably the closest to pure elation I've been! Hoping the Flyers will eventually get it together....as a Cup would be the top of the top!

I remember when our Flyers won the Stanley cup in '74.

πŸ‘‹ HEY there! How are you doing These days? My TMS is going great. had great results this month.

Broadstreet bullies!! I've watched that documentary. Love hockey πŸ’ but I wasn't born yet...πŸ˜•u had to wait another 5 months to meet me 🍼🀣

Except for medical issues I am doing well, thx! My 3rd round of TMS results are still working great after a year and a half. So happy to hear yours is going well also!! Don't know what I would have done without it since I would never do ECT or ketamine.. I 'm such an advocate for it.I'm not really into sports but had to throw that in about the Flyers. I was 19 when they won the cup!!

I'm SO happy to hear that you get such long term results!! I'm in a 4 week cycle right now. My brain needs🧲🧠 more frequent resets, I guess. If I go 5 or6 weeks, my symptoms begin to hinder my ability to function...and that sucks. But when I get to the sweet spot of therapy, the results are nothing short of miraculous! I did Ketamine infusions too. But TMS is definitely my #1 treatment option. The microdosing experience has been really positive, too. It all adds up. Better IS Better 😊

It means everything! Just knowing there's a way to get out from under the weight of depression when it rears its ugly head... that's a priceless gift 🎁 and should be available for everyone regardless of cost. It's a shame on every level.

I see pride and joy regardless of the circumstance. Pure elation is a feeling you get when you've put in the work and had a huge success. It's amazing seeing that feeling fully embodied in this picture and yes, I've experienced it myself. Congrats on such a historic victory! πŸŽ‰

I hope that someday I'll feel something close to this from an accomplishment I've achieved. It's on my bucket πŸͺ£ list 😁... not sure what the milestone will be, but that's the mystique of the journey πŸ’—

Congrats to you and the Vegas Knights! I visited there to see my Flyers play them in 2018 and every fan was super nice and congratulatory to us Philly vistors as the Eagles just won the Super Bowl a week prior. It was a fun game as both home and away fans were just having a ball. I appreciated Vegas fans for their chill demeanor and I am happy they have a big win to already appreciate.

As a former hockey player myself, my own pure elation moment came when my "A" level hockey team won our own championship. I had a great season scoring 50 goals in 30 games and our team worked hard to make a deep run. Obviously we were ALL very far from every being pro hockey players NHL wise, but we had a few former high end players in the league that this was a huge deal. We won the game 5-4 and the game winner was scored by me placing a hard well aimed shot just over the goalies shoulder where only the puck would fit to the point it literally fit right betweent the shoulder and post....and dropped down behind him. Super pumped....the last few seconds ticked off the clock....and we had finally done it. I haven't seen a lot of those guys in a long time, but we were all a family. I have two bad knees now from all that hard work, but it was totally worth it. I'll never forget it that feeling.

Woah 50 goals in 30 games is INCREDIBLE!! Upper shelf championship series winning goal...dang, You should be proud of your accomplishments! That's so awesome. Not many people have these stories πŸ‘ for a short time in game 5, Martinez almost had his SECOND Stanley Cup Championship series winning goal. We watched him score the Cup winner when he was on the LA kings and thought it would be ironic if he did it here too...with Quick. HA!

My husband played hockey, defense, from the time he could walk all the way through college. We didn't meet until he was 24, so unfortunately I never got to see him play one game. That is a πŸ˜• bummer for sure.

We're both from Minnesota. Hockey is in our blood. It's incredible how Vegas embraced the KNIGHTS πŸ’πŸ₯… in such a beautiful way. The inaugural season was a dream...until ovechkin decided to play team hockey for once in his career and stole the Cup πŸ† but it wasn't our time yet. Had to get eichel. Ironically, eichel and I had neck spine surgery at the same levels last spring and share the exact same scar. Stone had lower spine surgeries at the same level as me, too. I walked with a walker and cane from Oct '16-aug '18. I have permanent L4 nerve damage but have put in thousands of rehabilitation and physical therapy hours and I can run again. I typically do 25-30 miles a week of jogging and speed walking with my husband and dogs.

I know that's an accomplishment MANY in my position would never have achieved. But it was a very gradual progression, filled with angst and uncertainty. The Elation moment eluded me in this instance, although in the end, the reward is truly nothing short of miraculous. I am grateful πŸ₯² and humbled by the ability I've regained.

Nice to meet you. Thanks for sharing your hockey story with me! Even though we're from MN... Vegas has become our team.

In my house we call football β€œrules ball” because it seems half the game is spent on the refs checking rules, calling rules, creating new rules, etc πŸ˜† But we love it 😍

I have felt pure elation three times in my life. When each of my babies were born and I got to hold them in my arms. My husband helped deliver all 3 and I did skin to skin right away. To feel their little warm bodies against me was a something I want to remember forever. Felt them take their first breath, first cry, first feed. It was cloud 9!

I don't have human 🍼 babies but I can relate to receiving both these furry bundles as puppies.

Smokey is going on 15 already. He'll be able to drive me around soon πŸš— 🀣🀣🀣Got him at 7 weeks old. My very first dog. The first thing I said was...is he always going to be this soft? Yep...for real. And Yes, he is!

Grace was a rescue from our vet. Maybe 4 pounds of feisty fury. Been a fire cracker her whole life. She'll be 11 on Monday. She's my physical therapist and my and hubby's running mate. She keeps us in top physical shape.πŸƒπŸ’¨πŸŽ½

Pure elation was when I watched the underdog American hockey team beat the seasoned Russians in the Olympics. I was screaming at the tv! Sober! Lol

Yes yes yes YAAASSSS!! I was only 5 and don't really remember it...but I've watched the historical documentaries about it. We're from Minnesota and ironically, when Herb brooks died in that one car crash coming home from a golf charity event, we were in Minnesota visiting our families. It was a tremendous shock and loss to the twin cities community. So 😒 sad.
