hey guys. I’m trying really hard to work on my health anxiety at the moment, before I would phone my dr atleast 3/4 times a week, I know it’s awful ☹️ Recently I’ve been trying to work on this and I’ve gone a good month or so with out any contact at all with a dr! But the past 3/4 days I have this awful nausea feeling, worse in the morning and at night when lying down, no one else in my house is sick or feeling the same. I’m only ever physically sick in the morning because I feel like it’s what I have to do to feel a little better! I drink plenty water and don’t drink caffeine. Also absolutely no chance of pregnancy.
sorry to be a pain with a long post again!
Thank you to every single person who responds it truly does help x

Is the anxiety an all day thing then even though it is worse in the morning and at night? Do you think that it could just be from anxiety? Does it lessen (the nausea) during the day because you are busy and your mind is a little less encumbered by anxiety?
Do you do therapy to help with your health anxiety? I think that maybe that would be a great route. I have this weird thing were a lot of mornings if I drink water on an empty stomach I get nauseous. It is sometimes worse than others. Maybe a side effect of meds... Are you on any new meds or have made any changes with diet or supplements? There are a lot of factors so it can of course be very hard to pin down.
I just always remind myself that our bodies are very capable and resilient, especially if we nourish them properly.
Hopefully one of these questions or this post will help with your sleuthing. Keep on keepin on
thank you for your response! The nausea comes and goes all day but it feels worse in the mornings and nights, I don’t take any medication at all either ☹️ I’m currently waiting to be referred from my GP for CBT therapy. I’ve been fine all day since this morning and now at 9pm the nausea has kicked back in, I feel sick when I don’t eat but also feel sick when I do eat and it’s driving me mad!!! I otherwise feel okay just the feeling of being nauseous is really annoying. I don’t want to bother my doctor or call nhs 24 just for them to tell me it should settle but it has been on going for 4 days now. Unsure what to do and a little scared 😟
I think that you have had some good answers on here. I am not sure if they work 100%, but I think things like probiotics at least have a decent placebo effect 😅. There are also greens supplements with probiotics. I have started one of those and I think that is helping my gut health.
I totally understand 100%. I am nauseated everyday but, idk why all the time. Sometimes, I believe it's from sleep deprivation, sometimes it's simply my anxiety rearing it's ugly head in physical form.
Something that helps me is making sure I eat small amounts of healthy food every couple of hours, always being sure that my tummys not empty. I also utilize motion sickness/anti emetics if needed. I hope you find relief. 🫂 🤗 ~hugs~
thank you so much for replying. Usually nausea hasn’t been a symptom for me with anxiety so I was thinking maybe it’s bacteria related or something, never the less still scary, especially suffering health anxiety, just feeling at a bit of a loss 😟 x
Ugh it's tough. I struggle with that also. My NP and therapist help sometimes. I truly hope that you can overcome this problem. Being here is a good start!
I get anxiety nausea and have health anxiety so I definitely understand how one can feed the other. I keep ginger ale in the house along with peppermints. Try eating smaller meals maybe more bland things, that helps me. Bananas, crackers, etc. Don’t look at this as a “lose” if you have to call your dr, you’ve made progress by not calling multiple times a week so calling them once is still progress.
