Hello I posted a couple weeks ago from a very depressed state. My situation hasn't changed but my mentality has. I feel like that's the first step in making a change in your life. I started back up on my anti depressants to try and give myself a boost which seems to have helped. I'm trying to work on building good habits while I'm able to do hopefully it carries through the next time I'm feeling down. I have the motivation to "do" but it's so damn cold that's been difficult 🥶Anyway I'm trying to keep the momentum, what's your tricks for trying to adopt new healthy habits?

hi im sorry your having a rough time try writing a list and even if you just do one thing each day then reward yourself with a treat too, i had to motivate myself to swim it was very uplifting once i got there and i foccused on how good it made me feel, hope this helps a bit im with family right now so keeping it brief 🤗
I hope you continue to feel better. I find that exercise and nature help my mindset. Also some quiet meditation or prayer first thing in the morning. I have recently come to understand that self-compassion is very important. You may find some books on this topic as it relates to mindfulness.
hi thanks yes i have been doen that route got loads cds etc im ok now sort of but had some really rough times and the mediation stuff etc did help i did make mistake of self medicating with alcohol at some point tho and on reflection i should had meds im stubborn about them and use alternative help re nature etc 🤗hope you find some peace soon as i did
