Progress!

It’s been almost a week on the Remeron and even on only 3mg I’m still seeing improvement. Yesterday I was actually able to get out and run a few errands. Did some baking this morning. I feel less confined to the couch and some of the physical anxiety symptoms are lessening.

Still having some dizziness, not sure if it’s the meds or the concussion at this point. But I finally feel ok enough that I made some physical therapy appts. Hopefully this will all start to settle down in the next few weeks. 🤞

Isn't it great when a treatment starts to work? I'm going into my 6th week of Zoloft and it is helping. Life is still different and a bit strange, but the long days of misery are much less miserable and there are windows of actual joy.

Yes! I tried Zoloft 12mg for 2 wks and was so discouraged bc I couldn’t seem to tolerate 25mg. The Remeron works pretty quickly, I was amazed. (And relieved!) It feels good to think there might actually be a light at the end of this tunnel.

Even when we can't see it the light is there! I'm so glad you're getting the help and relief you need.

That’s a really great way of looking at it. I think I need to write that down to keep me motivated. And same to you! :)

Hahaha I’ve definitely snacked on a few mini kit kats myself today! Thank you, I appreciate it. :)

Thank you! I was really put off by the possible side affects but like you said you never know.

So glad you’re seeing results Callie. Meds can seem scary especially after a negative experience. Hang in there!

I’ve had so many negative experiences so I am happy and relieved. Having a bad headache/some dizziness now but I have to remember that the anxiety might be easing up but I still need to take it easy bc of the concussion. Plus it was raining today and I heard barometric pressure can cause problems.
