I think it's common for those with depression (and maybe other mental illnesses?) to think that others can tell. I know I've always thought that. My psychiatrist told me something many years ago that I thought would get me thinking otherwise but apparently it hasn't. He said, "we aren't mind readers".

Hi AXXES2, I remember years ago being so anxious that I wondered how I would

be able to make a good presentation in interviewing. I started out working for a

temporary agency as it felt less threatening to my mental health. As for the key to

a successful interview, I role played. Someone once told me that others do not know

you from a "hill of beans" lol Before you walk into your interview, take a deep breath

and exhale and mentally think "ACTION". You are in the performance of your life,

confident full of self esteem, a firm handshake and direct eye contact and a smile.

The more you practice interviews, the better you will get Until...one day you will start

to believe the part you are playing. Even when I had a job, I was always interviewing

for something better with more pay. It eventually had me turning down jobs.

My best to you always...It will happen Believe in that my friend :) xx

Congratulations on continuing your efforts to interview. Yes smiling is a must! ๐Ÿ˜ŠNo one will know you are depressed so I wouldn't mention it. Let them know of your positive qualities ie; honesty, promptness, hard worker etc... Salary is a consideration but not the only one . Employees are really needed right now so you can ask the interviewer questions about their work environment, health care benefits and anything else you need to know. Best wishes! ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ˜Š
