Depression.... Why does it hurt so much without the actual hurt. Why does your mind and heart break into a million little pieces everyday

Why is this so painful yet I'm in no pain

Is it a rhetorical question? If you're really asking, I don't know of my own personal experience.

Depression and anxiety are stressors for me. Stress equals worsening body pain. So, for me, emotional pain triggers worsening physical pain. Physical pain equals worsening emotional pain. Hahaha.

If you'll accept a guess, "Why does it hurt without hurting?"

You are hurting. Your broken heart, your hurt mind.. That is hurt.

So, why does it hurt without your body joining in? Why, because it's well enough not to share the misery. A blessing.

Emotionally hurt is by far worse than physically hurt but yes I know what you mean
