I had mono in October and it was terrible. I got behind in school and couldn’t do anything. I recovered in November, but for a few days I feel sick like it’s recurring. I researched and I think it’s chronic fatigue from mono. It’s an absolute terrible disease and it’s been affecting me. I am absolutely had it with this disease. I am sick of it controlling my life. I want it to end, but it’s not. It’s affecting my mental health.

Getting sick with mono
chronic fatigue has lots of causes many of which you don’t have to suffer through. We’re you diagnosed?
I was diagnosed with mono but not chronic fatigue. I just saw an article on it.
You might want to check with your doctor. Mono itself can leave you tired and run down even after it is "gone." Give yourself some extra rest for a few more days.
your doctor might have some options. There are also sleep hygiene methods that might work, even all purpose ones that don't have side effects. There are of a ton of things to do so I'll just suggest googling it. If mono caused you to oversleep it could just be your circadian rhythm that is out of wack and you can do something about that.
Sorry you are having such a difficult time. I had mononucleosis which lasted for six months. It was devastating but eventually I recovered. It took a long time to feel back to my old self. Try to hang in there Consult your doctor with any concerns you might have.
Years ago I had mono when my children caught it. I honestly don't remember several months of my life. Stay hydrated, rest and take Vitamin C. Hope you feel better soon. For now listen to your body.
My mono lasted at least three months. I had to leave school before Thanksgiving and didn’t finish all my classes. The next semester I returned, took an extra class and to my surprise, got the best G.P.A. of my life. Mono can drag on for a while. Give yourself time to heal. It might be better to lighten your schedule a bit. It will get better.
