So I'm going to be leaving my Dr a message. I think maybe i can come off meds, slowly with supervision that is. The other day inseemed more myself, and left my room a good bit when I didn't take it. Now that I started back on it again last 2 days, I just feel sick and don't want to leave my room again. Maybe I'll do better on 10mg again? I'm not sure but I'll update

Lowering does possibly?
you might find this site helpful. I have tapered off a couple times and I found that it was important to listen to my body. I did talk to my doctor and the first time they gave me a timeline. It was too fast. I slowed down. For another drug I have not been able to ween off and it is frustrating. Luckily it is a cheap drug.
May I ask what it was you tapered off? And what it was like, any withdrawals
celexa. I had to take that slow. Reduced it then was crying all the time so I bumped it up by half. Viibryd was much easier but I also took a low dose for only a year. I cannot come off lamictrogine. If you look it up on that website you’ll see I’m far from the only one.
Thank you for responding. I'm hoping to try the natural route, meds don't seem to help for long with me
my approach is super conservative especially because I question if I needed the lamictal. I suspect they over prescribe and the problem is they never communicate the effect on the brain which is significant. When I try to come off I am irritable but I’m also craving sugar like crazy. Like dairy cream blizzard daily cravings
That said I will take one if it really makes sense, I have complete information and ideally it isn’t a lifetime thing (goes for any med)
Hi AB01.
I remember U saying the other day that U felt better , it seems that U did have some success & only thing I can suggest is wait until U hear what the Dr says & have U decrease at a certain rate & may leave U with that little dose to help U always start ur day with a win so to speak.
Glad U are benefitting from the medication & feel ur health is improving & hopefully ur Dr will have U reduce dose each week over a month or 2 to wean U off them. 😊
Thank you
I'm happy for as U did say U felt U were more U when U accidently missed a dose. So I wish U lots of joy & luck.
