those good ol intrusive thoughts that are like hahaha you’re feeling okay and mostly calm right now so we’re gonna make you think about how something can happen out of your control and death lmao I’m starting to laugh at them now getting wack theses thoughts or if something is out of my control my therapist said they’re will be time when you learn to say F*** It whatever happens happens

I tell those thoughts to move out. That everything is ok at the moment and I block them.

What are you doing when you get these intrusive thoughts?
Good for you for realizing how goofy those intrusive thoughts are and being able to laugh at them. Realizing that they are just thoughts and there is no need to take them seriously is key to getting better. We typically have over 6000 thoughts a day and we also have a negative bias which means we generally remember more negative things than positive things so a lot of them will be negative. Knowing what is going on makes it easier to let the thoughts come and go without attaching to them, think of them as clouds moving through your mind.
