I recently had my first ever panic attack, well that’s what I thought it was, ever since I’ve experienced a lot of pain that comes and goes in my chest area, particularly under my left breast bone, it can sometimes be painful to touch, I also now get these weird flutters in my chest, And the physical and mental symptoms come back once a week sometimes twice a week, the chest pain is more constant. I was wondering whether this is normal, as I’ve never even experienced a panic attack before this, or severe anxiety which is what’s been caused of this. Should I seek medical advice or is this all nothing to worry about and just my anxiety. (I did have an ecg and blood test after the panic attack and everything was normal)

Your symptoms sound very much like anxiety, which can cause a panic attack. As far as seeking medical advice, it may be the best choice, even if just to put your mind at ease. You say that your previous tests came back normal, this is a good thing. Anxiety lies to us and tries to make us imagine the worst possible scenario. The fluttering feelings are anxiety related, I get them all of the time.
Thank you for this reply, appreciate it a lot!!
Hi Strongbow12, I agree with "ella-bee" that it's always best to see your doctor whenexperiencing something for the first time. It sounds like you did and everything was
okay. This is where Anxiety can come in and play with your mind making you doubt
the test results.
Talking once again to the doctor may help reassure you. xx
It might be a good idea to see the doctor to rule out any heart issues ❤
