Disliking myself. Ashamed. Feeling petty for being jealous. I have become bitter. How to get past this?

Hello Miss Lily I am so sorry for I know the feeling of shame so well too well. Shame most likely in this case it’s not healthy shame serves us in many ways but when we’re brought up in an unhealthy dysfunctional or sick environment it can be Incredibly cripplingWhatever the reason you may be feeling this way I would ask you to consider self compassion as hard as it might be to sit down with yourself let yourself ramble the story that you’re hearing that’s hurting and try to be the person yourself that is there for you your self. This takes much practice it is not easy but it is worth trying and working on

I recommend listening to Tara Brock and Brené Brown regarding shame. They are both available to listen to on YouTube Leave help me very much as I have had and still do carry much shame. God bless and keep you
