Thanks . I am glad you liked the question . Of course I don't mind more than one song. Great song choices and nice songs just to relax and close your eyes to
😁I’m a person who likes the same song that you like. Don’t hesitate to mention a song because someone else already has. A lot of people like the same songs and music. But it was a great surprise to me that anybody else would like “High Hopes”. I was afraid someone would think I was weird. 😂But, HEY! We’re having fun, right?
Check out Sting and Tony Bennett ‘s duet version. Actually when I hear this song it brings up fond memories for me. My beloved mommy was from the East Bronx NY and Italian-American crooners like Mario Lanza and Tony Bennett were very popular. She and my dad introduced me to this kind of music and it was fabulous when some of the singers sang in Italian usually for Romantic love songs
I Love 💕 Lanza. Actually during one of the 3 tenors concerts, Luciano Pavarotti, Placido Domingo and Jose Carreras, Carreras sang Because You’re Mine because he was influenced by Lanza
Wow, such a beautiful duet. I’m surprised I have never heard this song. I consider myself dare I say a mogul in the music industry but clearly I am mistaken. Thanks for sharing it has now been downloaded to my playlist😊
Happy 😃 that it’s in your playlist. Sting is a one of a time singer/entertainer. I’m not always fond of who was picked to sing with Bennett, but Sting was an excellent choice. Please also check out the incomparable Amy Winehouse had a duet with
Thanks for sharing , glad you feel that you haven't needed it in a while . Sometimes I like to listen to songs I associate with depression or similar even when I am in a good mood as it has a different feel to it .
I'm going to be greedy here,🤣 how about Freddie Mercury and Barcelona, and Whitney Houston, One moment in time. Pure power ballads, sadly no longer with us, truly divine voices, heaven has gained a pair of angels 🙏
Yep, I've seen that already, boy, she certainly has a pair of lungs in her, now , they said it wasn't sang live, but it was dubbed over, what's your opinion? They reckon she wouldn't have been able to hear the music being played because of all the background noise, but it certainly gave me goosebumps 😊
Now I think 🤔 I remember that. Either way, a great version of the song and Whitney was the ultimate entertainertragic that she died so young but I have wonderful memories of listening and dancing 💃🏼 to her music
Yep, definitely, my FAVOURITE all time female singer, a talented lady, stunning, and ' didn't we have it all ' as one of her songs gave us, the ultimate, and blessed lady left the planet way to early, a sad loss 😢
Good 4 U. I was a caregiver for a client with dementia and would play 4 her Living in America by James Brown and YMCA by the Village People. We would dance 💃🏼 to it and she was very happy
My song choice usually depends on my mood but Elle King's America's Sweetheart is a fun one to dance it out to. Plus it has a good message about being yourself. 🎶💃
You'd think that as a musician I would have an answer, but I don't do that. If I did, it would not be a classical piece; it would be "Walkin on Sunshine".
I have listened to some of there stuff before . Even though I am not religious they are very uplifting and moving songs . I really like Austin french and skillet for similar reasons either though the genres are different
There have been a number of times where I felt anxious and I listened to a couple of songs- Laura Shigihara's 'Everything's Alright" and Lauren Aquilina's "King". They are both very calm, softer songs that are encouraging.
Listen to music like the blues with classic artists like BBKing,Susan Tedesky, rock and roll like Bonnie Raite,Los Lobos,NRBQ, Al Anderson... Sometimes I like to begin to dance or sing along. Try it. It will help.Personally I spend my day listening to music everyday. It helps my mood.
Awesome . I never really listend blues music until I went on a cruise and they had an awesome band who done some blues numbers . They really good and changed my mind about that genre
I love artists like B.B., Bobby Blue Bland and Etta James. I was lucky enough to see B.B., Bobby, Etta and Ray Charles in concerts. Los Lobos does a great version of the classic Spanish language song played at many weddings Sabor a mi
High Hopes sung by Frank Sinatra?

Apparently that has been suggested. What about Yiruma "River Flows in You!"
So this maybe before your time, but try the fendertones and their wonderful version of sloop John b , all die in someone's living room, absolutely awesome stuff, it will show you what true musicians are all about, definitely worth a watch on YouTube 🤗
The music that brings me the most happiness is whatever I happen to be working out -- either on music paper or with the setup you see below. I was a studio musician for most of my life and nothing else gives me that intense feeling of connection and meaning. Writing music and fiction has saved me more than once.
(This is a photo of the music hardware I use to compose. The software is hidden.)
I shouldn't reveal which albums I've worked on at a forum like this one, since we're all anonymous, but I can PM you privately when I put out a bit of music under a pseudonym, if you like. I won't be able to focus entirely on music until after next October, so I probably won't release anything before then because I'm a perfectionist.
About the drum machine on the top right in my photo: lots of my old studio friends told me it was a mistake to pick one up -- it's an Analog RYTM MkII by the Swedish company Elektron -- because the workflow was too difficult and involved. I told them I live for musical challenges and that's the truth: I have *loved* working with that machine for the past few years.
My go to song list is long and varied. Some of my favorites are I will Survive by Gloria Gaynor, and I'm Still Standing by Elton John. They make me feel strong and defiant. When I am sad I try to put on anything upbeat that makes me feel like dancing.
They are two classic songs . I will survive is such a great song to shout out of the top of your lungs to annoy the neighbors with 😂 My parents are massive Elton John fans . My favourite EJ song is candle in the wind
