Music is a huge release from the struggles in life and my depression. Do you agree? What music do you enjoy? I have a very good ear for good music I believe. I love 60s 70s 80s an 90s. I like a handful of new people but the old stuff is the best stuff. Comment a band that helps you get through the day. π

My husband loved 60s music, I like country, My kids like all the music they were raised listening to and often hear it on when they ring for a chat, my son did rocknroll dancing for a long time when he was young, think all the music we played inspired him
Huge classic rock fan Love your screen name!
PINK FLOYD always gets me through any day- good or bad πΆπ
I love Pink Floyd ! I love so much of that music from then. Zeppelin is my favorite. I love 90s "grunge" too. Nirvana, Alice in chains and Pearl Jam help me so much with my issues it's unreal really.
I'm always up for convos about music β feel free to shoot me a message anytime.
I grew up on Zep. I FINALLY saw Robert Plant in concert last summer. Some how, some way, get to a Robert Plant concert!! Voice is the same as when he was 30. That man is 70 and BLEW the crowd AWAY! Legend. Love grunge too. Therapy
Dave Matthewsββ€
I recommend listening to Tyler Childers he is amazing!

Music can touch the soul in ways words alone cannot. I love both new and older rock/metal. Black Sabbath is one of my favorites (hence my username).
I totally agree. I think music is one of the best medicines there is tbh. I like the screen name. Im always up for a good music conversation. Feel free to hit me up anytime. I may be a little slow but I'll always reply.
Muse are my favourite, enter shikari are good too as they sing mostly about peace, racial equality etc. They don't make songs like they used to though. I'm an old soul so I grew up listening to all the good stuff from the 80s and 90s. I also love a bit of elvis, Roy orbinson and stuff. Music definitely helps you escape and express yourself
Music is very therapeutic for me, and my taste is eclectic. The songs that carry me through blue periods change from day to day, but bands that I return to often when I'm low include Pulp, Depeche Mode and, very frequently, Blur.
There are certain songs from those bands and so many other artists that I just play on a continuous loop when I'm feeling down or am trying to write a poem.
Depeche Mode... good stuff. Do you like Roxy Music? The Cure? I'll try some Blur and Pulpππ»πΆ
To my great shame, I'm only familiar with the one Roxy Music song that probably most everyone has heard at one time or another, "More Than This." But I should definitely explore them further, especially since I get the sense that they had an influence on Pulp (Jarvis Cocker even produced a documentary on them for the BBC in 2013).
Are there any Roxy Music albums you'd recommend as a starting point?
I do like certain songs by The Cure, but they never resonated with me as a band the way they did for many of my generation. I also feel the same way about The Smiths in that they were a cultural touchstone with which I was never really in touch.
Any favorite Depeche Mode tunes?
Roxy Music- best album "Avalon", runner up- "Siren"
Depeche Mode songs- "'Waiting for the night", "Walking in my shoes" and well known, "People are people" and "Empty the Silence"
Forgot to mention Tears for Fears do u like them? LOVE THEM
Getting into car- turning on PULP and I'll check out documentary soon, I LOVe "Rockumentaries"
music is a good RELEASE!

Don't forget RUSH πΆ
"Each of us, a cell of awareness, imperfect and incomplete....." Rush, "Freewill"
Love classic rock (60's & 70's) and a lot of alternative music as well. It all gets me through each day. So many that I could name but mainly U2 (thanks to my wife), Red Hot Chili Peppers and Pink Floyd. I know it is diverse but it depends on my mood at the time. I respect what anyone listens to as that is the music they enjoy. As long as it stirs your feelings and makes you feel good, that is what is most important. In my opinion of course.
