Music is Amazing :)

Music is a very powerful tool, it can be a good influence, it can be a bad one, or neutral I guess. The past few weeks haven’t been too easy, but then I recently had the idea of incorporating more good music into my daily life. I love music, and I really haven’t listened to much in a while... but I selected some good, positive music and BOOM! I’ve been feeling a significant increase in my emotional state :) it’s like the music is feeding my brain goodness, and my brain is loving the buffet 😂 I wish I was doing this earlier!

Maybe you music loving guys and guyettes could use a little more musical goodness in your life :) it’s not too hard, and the results are convincing enough for me 😂 I’m gonna keep using music to inspire positive thoughts and good feelings :)

I hope this idea can help :) I wish you all the best!

how many people agree with and understand this but also think it can go the other way also, your mood chooses the music. most of the time I choose music based on my mood but sometimes I have to force myself into a better mood and choose to force myself to listen to other music to help my mood.

Alright. Well, if your mood isn’t in too good of a place, you can start with music that matches your mood, and then gradually listen to music that has a more positive energy. It’s like releasing the not so good mood through music and then transitioning to a happy music mood :)

Great reply. Also open your mind to different types of music. Amongst other stuff I love classical. And do go writing it off, I love slipknot too and Corey Taylor loves classical, apparently, so it's all good....

Anyway, if you find it difficult start with movie scores, you love movies, right? People say they hate classical but imagine star wars or lord of the rings without classical music!

Concentrating on the new music a little really helps occupy your mind in a good way and classical is fantastic for changing mood and feelings as it changes.

If not try something else. 80s, 90s, rock, country, dance... At least if it's something new and if you really don't like it you might just be able to dump the negative feelings onto it and never listen again!

Great reply too :) I like your attitude towards new music and how it can also be a great help :) I actually found some new music recently which is part of why it’s so impactful! :) and I love many kinds of music, just not rap 😂 music definitely helps a ton with my feelings and thoughts :)

Haha I'm about the same. I'm rock and metal mostly, with a large chunk of country music. Some days it's classical, why not? Others I'll go on a trip through the decades, anywhere up to about this decade... Urgh, mainstream radio chart noise haha.(Although at the moment lots of Christmas music, but shush, that's a guilty pleasure 😉)
