I think my etsy post was taken down unfortunately. Is there a guideline that says you cannot do so? Still, I’ll post it. Any way to get my artwork out there works for me! I am looking Again, my goal isn’t to coax anyone to buy my art just to see it. I consider my etsy a gallery of sorts with organized works from this year. After all, I love people seeing my work and thinking about what it could mean.

is it wrong/against guidelines to promote your artwork here?

I think it may come across as soliciting. Which I believe is against the rules. 🐬
Your art has been up for 9 hours. That’s pretty good. And your art is really good. 👍🏼
Your pieces are really good. I don’t work here of course but I can say why other groups don’t allow it… promoting is selling. You aren’t paying them plus imagine what this forum would lose if just 10 people started promoting their work. It would clearly be off topic. People do post their art but not with a link. That is kind of the line in the sand. It is a very small audience here anyway.
I think it’s the etsy bit that does it, not the posts. Thank you for your comment, i appreciate this feedback!
I’d suggest you edit your post and take out the Etsy link. If you’re serious about following the guidelines.
Here’s a link to my art instagram which I cannot and do not get paid off of. Hopefully, it doesn’t get edited out as it brings me absolutely 0 profit. I am simply an artist wanting to tell a story. It has some really dark stuff which I think could be triggering, but it’s a part of the history. My etsy captures most of my happiest times making art. This is all of my work the good, the bad, and the ugly. Tells a bit of a story from all the way down to the very top. instagram.com/torpe_7/?utm_... Again I do not make revenue off of this. There is a ton of art here that means a lot to me and came from the lowest place I think one can possibly delve into.
