Depersonalization help

Hi everyone, I've been gearing up to move to New York from Florida so I can begin my career in film and Television after graduating. However recently I’ve been experiencing scary depersonalization and the things that come with that. I feel dizzy and unreal. I hate the feeling. It’s terrifying and it happens every day at some point now. I want it to stop. Any tips? I’m on trintellix 10mg for anxiety disorder.

treyjeff, this is what your goal was.. Now that it's getting near to becoming reality, you can become a little apprehensive. You will be going out in the real world but it doesn't have to be scary. Changes are always difficult at the beginning but without change we

stay stagnant and don't grow.

How exciting to be making that move to New York. Physically you are prepared to make

that new start. Now it's time to mentally prepare yourself.

Medication is a help but not the full answer. Please go to YouTube and listen to

Affirmations of many famous people who like you were anxious about change. But through

following their dreams, fell into where they were meant to be.

Breathe my friend. I wish you well and wish you success :) xx

Hey treyjeff...I am all the way over the pond in the UK...I know that change is difficult...and a change like you are making is pretty huge BUT think of what it is going to lead to...a new life in a new city making new friends and a new start...a lot of people will never have that opportunity and a lot of people would not have the courage to do it if offered...YOU have made the first BIG step by saying YES...if you stayed in Florida where would you be in a years time? You would probably be doing the same thing and regretting that you didn't take a chance and let me tell you regret is a HUGE part of depression...you are getting ever closer by making this move to living a different life....and I suspect a happier and more fulfilled life...if you didn't feel anxious then I would be worried...anxiety and apprehension are natural when making a move like you are doing....PLEASE let us all know how you get on and if you have any worries come back on here...we may not have all the answers BUT we are here for you...and everyone else !! Best wishes and follow your dreams !!
