I have a very uncontrollable trembling induced by anxious situations, which literally make me, no-control-over-body experiences; I cannot even hold a pen. I am on anti-depressant(zoloft) but I dont take any medication to control trembling as my doc advice against it.
I would like to hear thoughts from fellow members I how do you cope such things.
Thanks

Hi, I was in the same situation. The answer is to firstly acknowledge that the sensation is there. Secondly, find something else to focus on. This could a stress ball to squeeze or flicking a rubber band on your wrist.Basically it is forming the acknowledgement by saying to yourself, oh here comes the x symptom. I need to do x action now.
With practice the distraction calms the shakes etc. If you struggle to come to grips with this on your own, several guided sessions with a psychologist can be useful.
I've experienced this when feeling anxious or especially during panic attacks. Shaking is one of the body's natural ways to shed excess energy and cope with stress.
I can't compare what I feel to what you feel because I don't know the extent of what you deal with and everyone is different... I don't mean to sound like I am invalidating this worry, but it is very common in people with anxiety disorders.
