My mother

In a special day for mothers I want to write about my mother.

I haven’t been able to see my mom since Covid began. For her own safety. I often get in arguments with my brother and sister since they go visit her often knowing that she is of age and higher risk.

What’s more sad is that she also does not care about her health, but I do.

She also refuses to get the vaccine and she keeps visiting her hometown south of the border.

I really wish she was more careful.

I still text her and send her funny messages.

And I hope she enjoys her day today, and tomorrow is her birthday as well. Lol

And P.S. sorry if I’m using this forum as a journal

Thank you for sharing. It is great to be able to reach out and share. It is good for yourself and for those of us who also have concerns and want to encourage and support each other. It is wonderful that you care for your mom and looking out for her. I will be keeping you and you mom in my prayers. Hugs and God Bless
