Thanks for the referral to Dr. Claire Weekes' book & YouTube videos from several of you. I hope to get some guidance about dealing with this (new to me) anxiety, racing heart & panic attacks following the recent death of my husband of 50 years. I have better luck dealing with these symptoms during the day. Nights are tough - losing more sleep every night now & am down to 3-4 hours. Adapted to an anti-anxiety med in 3 nights - no longer working. Wondering if a sleep aid (ambien, etc) might help while waiting my turn to talk to a therapist. They're so backed up due to COVID.

Dearest GautGirl, my sincerest sympathy on your loss.

Grieving takes time and is painful while going through the process.

This video on YouTube may better explain grief and it's process on

the brain causing your symptoms.
