Have had anxiety since a very young age, resulting in chronic headaches. Depression came later in life, caused I think by the constant unease.

Decided to try using this sight to connect with others that struggle with similar issues.

While I function fairly well, work hard at my chosen career, I’ve found the anxiety really gets in the way of expanding my world.

Welcome missjitters, I’m new here too just joined 2 days ago and this group is full of support and love even if you feel like your days is falling apart and since the past 2 days I’ve felt better than I’ve ever been especially feeling alone an depressed with no body I have people even if I don’t know them they’ve supported and been there

I'm thinking with nostalgia at the days when I was a child. They a gone and never return. At that time I run outside as long as day is and never had health problem. I missed those days. Now I'm older and ill. Why?

I feel your pain and I agree with you. Mild anxiety and mild depression for a lot of my life has caused me not to take the chances that I encourage my kids to take. Please make sure that you get a doctors evaluation but I can’t recommend a book enough that’s called feeling good bye David Burns. It just got recommended to me over the weekend and I started reading it and it really does make a lot of sense. Please give it a try but also make sure you have a professional evaluate you as well.

You sound a lot like me. I have a depression diagnosis, but I now believe I’ve always had anxiety and it’s been overlooked.
