Heart pain help

So earlier today I went to take a drink of water as soon as I swallowed I got severe chest pain on the left side that went away. Obviously started freaking out but the pain went away. I didn’t have any other symptoms. Now I feel slight pressure or pain under my ribs when I think about it. Ifk what to do I’m trying to sleep but I feel like I won’t be able to I keep jerking awake. Has this ever happened to anyone. Anyone have any suggestions. My stomach feels gassy and crampy also

Hi this is Shnookie. I’ve gone thru things like this and actually have burning on the top of my ribs now. It’s probably heartburn and gas and cramps sound like gastritis. U can call your doctor and ask him or her something like Pepcid or Nexium that help ease heart burn might help U. I know that what happened to U can almost seem scary and extremely uncomfortable 😣 I once had a sticking pain in one of my right ribs and was in so much pain that I was seeing stars. It was gastritis. Not to sound crude but sometimes having a vowel movement can relieve some of this pain. I’m

Try walking around a little! Relieve some gas! If that doesn’t help, please call your doc!

If it was anything serious the pain wouldn't go away. I am in the UK and find my pharmacist very helpful for things like this. I don't know if yours is the same but you could try asking.

It sounds like heartburn and gas. Eat bland foods for a day or two and do some slow walking.
