Lately I've been having severe arm pain it's always my right arm. Which causes pain on my right side of chest. I've asked the neurologist I work for and he told me its carpal tunnel or a torn ligament. When I wear pain patches they seem to always help which calms my anxiety. But today as I'm typing away my arm hurts my chest hurts. My mind is telling it's a heart attack coming but I've been told so many times my heart is good. So now my anxiety is thru the roof. Has anyone else felt any type of pain that causes your anxiety to spike. Oh and my 19 yr old daughter feels the same. I feel so crappy.

Have you both been playing any Sports, that is calling you pain.

Did your Daughter have the problem before you, or did you both suffer together. It may be your Anxiety that is causing problems, if your Doctor has told you your heart is fine, trust your GP. You asked your employer He feels it is tendons or muscular that may be the case

My kid doesn play sports but she is always on her phone always. Me I workout but not heavy. I usto but I take it easy now.

Feeling like your heart is weak or having chest pain is very common in those who suffer with health anxiety. Have a look at previous posts and online.

Carpal tunnel is pretty common now with the use of computers. I'm sure the md you work for is on the right page. He wouldn't say something to pacify you.
