Has anyone taken HTP-5 ?
I’ve been taking it for about 3-4 weeks but I really don’t see a difference. Although it does make me sleepy.
Maybe the point is to make you have a good nights sleep thus waking you up in a good mood?

It does have Ginko Baloboa in it and another ingredient that sometimes is contraindicated with anti depressants. Just saying as to not mislead anyone. Google the contraindications of any med and also of HTP- 5

I think 5HTP is good for anxiety as it helps you to sleep,but I find Ltyrosine better as it helps improve mood as it stimulates production of neurotransmitters.
If you don't feel any different - and no improvement - then it means you didn't need it and you aren't lacking in serotonin which is what 5htp makes in your body
You may need the opposite of serotonin which is dopamine
No. I have been taking One a day vitamins with very good percentage of minerals too though and I'm noticing some difference. I think my body is deficient in alot of trace minerals . That can affect mood and causes insomnia and depression too. So I'll continue taking them and have an open mind.
I'm on medication yet asking myself is it effective enough? Hmmmm. Still thinking considering alternatives..
