What is my problem 😭

I feel like I’m having a total panic disorder relapse, and that alone is making me so DEPRESSED! I feel like it hit me out of no where to. The past few days my anxiety has been SO HIGH! And yesterday I had the worse panic attack at the grocery store! I went completely numb and my vision went all blurry and spotty, I raced out of there as quickly as I could. And now I feel like a complete failure for leaving and not trying to face my anxiety and overcome it!

HELP! Anyone feel this as well? Or have Any advice! 🙏🏼

Nope...you are NOT a failure! Who are you trying to prove yourself too? We all handle things differently. You are not a Failure. Anybody would have responded as you did...and it's ok. Remove the self Persecution from yourself. Forgive yourself...be a blessing to yourself. If you don't LOVE on you who will? You are MEANT to be LOVED...So remove that arrow from your heart. You did NOTHING WRONG.

Hi Arym. A setback is not a relapse. Unfortunately recovery from anxiety or depression is not linear. There will be bumps in the road. You feel like you’re back at Square 1, right? You are not. Once you realize that and that setbacks are actually expected, some of your panic will leave you. I hope you feel better very soon.....

Sorry to hear about this tough experience yesterday. When you have been making progress it does make the setbacks all the more surprising. And exactly as you said, since it took you by surprise, you weren't prepared to handle it as you might have otherwise. Can you look at this as a learning experience instead of as a relapse/failure? Maybe even now you can think back through what you know to do to respond. If this hadn't caught you by such surprise, think back through what you would have done, how you would have handled it. And while we don't want to be living in fear of a "next time", we also are not wise to think it won't ever happen again so we want to continue to strengthen ourselves to be prepared.
