Im 22 years old and ive been inactive due to Anxiety all year sometimes when i get up from laying down my legs will hurt for a couple of minutes i looked on google could i have DVT??????? I think its called Deep Vein Thrombosis.??and my legs look bigger to me

Hi LonersR. You’ve fallen prey to Dr. Google. If I could calculate the time I have spent looking up every symptom I’ve had on Google I’d be horrified. I don’t want that to happen to you. I do it to be reassured, but more often than not I come away thinking I have some fatal disease. Once in a while it can be helpful, but if you must Google take it with a grain of salt. Much better, if you are able to financially, is to see a medical doctor. I’m not suggesting that you ignore your symptoms. But try not to catastrophize. Get it checked out by a doc and forget it or follow the treatment you’re given to resolve it. Now if only I could follow my own advice!

Would you think itll show up in a CBC blood test?

Blood tests reveal a lot. If the doc thinks you should have one it will give more results than a CBC.

symptoms - normally one leg not both

throbbing or cramping pain in 1 leg (rarely both legs), usually in the calf or thigh.

swelling in 1 leg (rarely both legs)
